Kind words from the couple…

I wanted to send you a proper thank you for all our beautiful wedding photos; we’ve loved sharing them with the family and remembering the day.

You’ve done an amazing job of capturing people and even made me & S look far more natural than we felt!

🖤

That moment you realise yoo TOTally chose the right best man!

A little bit about the wedding of K & S

K X S had a beautiful time over in Uppingham at The Falcon Hotel. Their ceremony room was simply stunning, & with the classically charming music, big mirrors & 16th Century features, it was giving me pure Bridgerton vibes as the guests took their seats. The great thing about this venue is that is manages to balance formal without feeling stuffy, or pretentious. This was one of the reasons the couple picked the venue, they said in our initial meeting it had a great atmosphere & the venue had been really accomodating. Even for the ‘fussy eaters!’ - Their words, not mine!

The wedding itself had also been curated somewhat by their family members too. I think they’re rather lucky to have people on hand to be the celebrant, flortist, wedding cake maker & hair stylist! Not to mention an uncle that forges swords. Special mention for the most beautiful cake knife I have EVER SEEN.

When we initially met, I asked them what they wanted from their photographer, and their response entirely sums up their wedding day…

Nothing too formal, capture the day naturally, just get the group shots.

I did obviously coax them into a little couple session, and it was the shortest one I’ve ever done, as this pair really aren’t a fan of being in front of the lens!

If you’re thinking about having your SPECIAL DAY at this intimate Rutland wedding venue, here’s what a snippet of your wedding photographs could look like!

If you like these images and are considering my good self to capture your Falcon Hotel wedding, why not send a cheeky message and we can arrange a very informal chat about your day!

For anyone looking for a smaller, or micro wedding photography package, this is one option for what you can do with a 6 hour package:

Starting right before the ceremony & finishing after the first dance.

However, I did stay a little bit longer as the dance floor was unusually full for the start of the evening!
