I absolutely love capturing microweddings!
Welcome to the realm of smaller and more intimate celebrations, now lovingly named ‘micro weddings’…
If you’ve stumbled here and still aren’t sure what a micro wedding is, they usually {but not always} have much fewer guests involved. Maybe something between 10-25, but my smallest ever has been 3 - I actually had to act as a witness also, to make up the numbers! As standard, it’s usually your nearest & dearest only; parents, besties, maybe a bridesmaid or two, but absolutely leaving out those family members that you really just aren’t aligned with!
Aș a micro wedding photographer in Leicestershire, I’m often found at the surrounding Registry Offices in the county, we do have quite a few nice ones… But also, it means I'm lucky enough to head to the more obscure venues, the less traditional, and the quirky! Sometimes it means I get more time with the couple themselves too, so we can slow things right down! Maybe even have a moment at the coffee shop where they first met, as above, which was just pure joy to start at the beginning of their story!
In essence, it’s the way to tailor your wedding, to banish the traditions, to be totally yourselves, with the people you love.

2 HOUR: SHORT WEDDING COVERAGE
I’d arrive a short time before the wedding itself, document your ceremony {25 mins if this is at a Registry Office}, and capture the group photographs of your family / friends.
We’ll finish on a mini couple session with your remaining time…

4 HOURS: A MICRO WEDDING PACKAGE
Let’s capture the wedding ceremony, the confetti shots, group photographs, a cheeky romantic couple session for the two of you {it’s nice to catch your breath after all the craziness!}
We’ll also have just enough time get a few candid shots of your guests enjoying themselves & I’ll probably finish just before the meal.

6 HOURS: A HALF DAY WEDDING PACKAGE
Practically a whole day, sort-of…Great if you don’t fancy the whole shebang but want the majority of your wedding captured.
