A little bit about the wedding of…

Before they made their way to the iconic Shustoke Barn Wedding Venue in Coleshill, Warwickshire, Anja started the day with her Bridesmaids, Mum & little daughter at their family home. They all had their simple but classic make-up done in the kitchen whilst the stylist worked on the hair, & we took the Bridesmaid’s out to the little courtyard one they had donned their gorgeous blush bridesmaid dresses for a quick snap whilst the bride was finishing up and helping the little one.

The traditional classic car turned up and they all took a leisurely ride up to the venue, culminating with the amazingly long sweeping driveway up to Shustoke Barn, passing glorious countryside and scenic views right up until the door. Mum walked Anja not only through the double doors, but followed all the way to the aisle, following the three bridesmaids.

The ceremony took place in the main area of Shustoke’s Barn, which has hugely tall ceilings and is lit with large rustic chandeliers and sunlight shining through the ornate brickwork. The ceremony itself was short and sweet, with gorgeous sunshine pouring in through the glass doors, bathing them like a halo. After some bribery in the form of Haribo for their daughter and the end of the nuptials and signing of the register, the newlyweds left the barn & made their way to the courtyard for their confetti walk before spending time with their loved ones and a well needed drink.

After the main course, we used the time before the desert to go out into the countryside for a romantic little couple session, as well as exploring the grounds and walled areas which were bursting with character.

After dessert, the guests pooled outside to enjoy the sunshine, free flowing drinks and most had a go on the hoola hoop! With the weather being SO PERFECT, they stayed out their until the evening first dance!
